WALLACE MURRAY ROMAS After a brief illness, with sadness and great sorrow, we announce the passing of Wallace Murray Romas on September 8, 2004 at the age of 61. Wally was born on October 24, 1942 in Winnipeg and raised in Pine Ridge. These were the good old days, being raised in the country, attending Sunnyside School, and cruising the country roads with his buddies in his 1950 Ford. That is when he met his wife Delores, of 42 years from Cooks Creek. He was employed with Accurate Dorwin Glass for 33 years, which he enjoyed. He will be sadly missed by his wife Delores; his sons, Michael (Gwen) and Trevor; grandchildren, Ashley and Katherine; and his dog PeeWee. Wally is survived by his brother Richard (Patsy) sisters, Barbara Larwood and Sandra Penny; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, and cousins. Wally was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Mary. The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to Tom Johnston and Wallys coworkers at Accurate Glass, for their kindness and support during these difficult times. Thank you to the staff at Health Sciences Centre, 4th Floor, for their support and care to Wally during his brief stay. Wally will be missed by all who knew him and enjoyed his sense of humour and playful nature. Prayers will be held on Sunday, September 12, at 5:00 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 13 at 10:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception, Cooks Creek. Interment will follow at the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Gary Caron, Alvin Myers, Ken Woytiuk, Al Fidler, Allan Syganiec and Barney Osadchuk. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Wallys memory to CancerCare Manitoba. Dad, Gigi, we will miss you. Vichnaya Pamyat Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044
