GLORIA JOAN CHOP September 24, 1940 - September 9, 2004 Peacefully on September 9, 2004, Gloria Chop passed away at the Riverview Hospital at the age of 63. Gloria was born in the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents, William Fitzgerald on August 14, 1976, and Constance (Chambers) Fitzgerald on January 30, 1995. Gloria will be sadly missed by her husband, Peter Chop and lovingly remembered by her only daughter, Connie Anne Creran. She was a wonderful and dedicated mother. Her life was centred around her daughter, Connie, in whom she had instilled many principles and memories. Happy times were spent at the summer cottage at Matlock, where they tended the flowers and the garden, listening to the birds singing and watching them build their nests. For the care given to Gloria, we thank Dr. John Moncek, the Nursing Staff at Riverview Hospital, Floor No. 3, and the Paramedics. In keeping with Glorias request, cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held to honour her memory at the Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery.
