NADIA (NELLIE) JANCZUK (nee KOSTUCHENKO) February 2, 1929 - September 9, 2004 Peacefully on September 9, 2004, Nadia passed away at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 75 years. Nadia is survived by her son Roman (Bonnie) daughters, Luda (Larry) and Sonia (Ken) grandchildren, Teala, Justin, Mitchell and Dennis. Nadia was born in Russia and immigrated to Canada in 1949. She met and married Paul and they raised their family in Winnipeg. She was a very dedicated employee of the textile industry. Nadia spent much time outdoors, communing with nature, which included swimming, hiking and gardening. She also had a great love for animals. The family would like to thank the staff at the Thorvaldson Care Home and the Victoria Hospital for their professional and compassionate care. Prayers will be said on Sunday, September 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Orthodox Sobor, 643 Manitoba Ave. with Fr. Anatoly Melnyk officiating.
