FLORENCE BARNES February 20, 1922 - September 7, 2004 Suddenly after a lengthy battle with cancer Florence passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on Tuesday, September 7, 2004, at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her husband Sydney; and leaves to mourn her daughter Caroline Lovequist (Ron) granddaughter Darlene Hewitt-Roeke (Jason) and great-granddaughter Tanya Hewitt. We wish to thank Moms dear and longtime friends Ethel Webber, and her daughters Sandra and Judie for their care and support, and Auntie Vera and Auntie Hilda for their regular phone calls. The family also wishes to thank the nurses in the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital for their special care and support. Cremation has taken place, and at Florences request there will be no service. Private family interment will take place on Tuesday, September 14 at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
