Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILDRED MAY TURNER (nee SHAW) Peacefully on Friday, September 10, 2004, Mildred May Turner passed away at the age of 84 years. Mildred was predeceased by her beloved husband Fred (1994) and sisters, Kay, Grace and Jessie. Mildred will be sadly missed by her loving family; daughter Diane Turner and son James (Vivian) of Calgary; grandsons, James (Rachelle) Jarman of Vancouver, Andrew (Leeann) Jarman of Calgary; Jamie Turner of Calgary; granddaughter Kelly (Denny) Oxelgren, and Jennifer Turner of Calgary; great-grandsons, Taylor Oxelgren and Cole Jarman of Vancouver; great-granddaughters, Kamryn Oxelgren, and Jordis Jarman of Vancouver; two sisters, Jean Zillman and Margaret (Jerry) Jiggins; and numerous nieces and nephews, especially Brenda (Pat) Carter, Marion (Barrie) Priest and their families. Mildred was born and raised in Brooklands, attending Brooklands (Krawchuk) School. She married Fred in 1941 and lived in Winnipeg, enjoyed socializing with friends and family. Mildred and Fred attended Sparling United Church together. Mildred enjoyed knitting and baking cookies for the grandchildren. She was very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thank you to the staff at the Lions Personal Care Centre. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m., at Grey Street United Church, Grey and Sandhurst, with Rev. Glenn Morison officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Mildreds memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
