BERNADINE BIRZOWSKI It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bernadine Birzowski on September 15, 2004 at her residence. Bernadine was born on May 20, 1927 to Mary and Andrew Berzowski and lived on Dufferin Avenue, later moving to East St. Paul in 1951. She is survived by cousin Stella Diaczun and her family cousin Jane Grammatico (Joseph) and their two children, Mark and Stephanie; cousin Mary and Mike Galas, cousin Barbara Diaczun, cousin Peter Muzia all of New York; cousins, Mary Muzia and John Muzia of East St. Paul; as well as cousins in Poland and Ukraine and her constant companion Buck Jones. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 18 at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with visitation on Friday, September 17 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and prayers starting at 6:30 p.m. all at the Chapel. Entombment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Liturgy for the deceased will be held on Monday, September 20 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Bannerman and Arlington, with Rev. Fr. Isidore Dziadyk officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernadines memory to Concordia Hospital Oncology Department. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
