Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERALD JOSEPH "GERRY" HONISH Suddenly on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at the Portage District General Hospital, Portage la Prairie, Gerald Joseph "Gerry" Honish passed away at the age of 59 years. Gerry was the youngest child of the late John and Magdaline Honish family. Left to mourn his passing is Mary, his wife of 31 years; son Kyle and wife Liisa of Calgary, AB and son Adrian and friend Cheryl of Winnipeg, MB. He is survived by two sisters, Jeneatt (Claude) Latulippe of Ochre Beach, MB and Del (Jack) Goodwin of Sidney, BC; five brothers, Bernie (Joan) of Morenville, AB, Dennis (Teeni) and Norm (Pearl), all of Sherwood Park, AB, Syl (Chris) and Rufus (friend Lucille), all of Rorketon, MB; sister-in-law Dorothy Honish of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; brothers-in-law, Farrell Murray of Rorketon, MB and Mike Atamanchuk of Dauphin, MB; along with numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held on Monday, September 13 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, 56 Royal Rd. S., Portage la Prairie at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon Bill Parrack. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, September 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 1125 Saskatchewan Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, with Celebrant Fr. Michael Wollbaum. Interment is to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The pallbearers will be Eric Kananoja, Kelly Kudeba, Dave Millar, Brock Schonitke, Ray Tomniak and Mike Zorin. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society - Pancreatic Division, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. "Words cannot express the void thats left in our hearts. Rest with Jesus."
