Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILHELMINA van der ZWEEP (nee VAN WYK) A loving spirit suddenly left us on September 10, 2004. Surrounded by her family, Wilma passed away at age 62. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years Ed. Also left to cherish her memory are her children and grandchildren, Greg (Rob, Kathy, Ed and David), Val (Rob) Loudfoot, Connie (Shane, Celia and Hope), Patricia, Gary (Morgan, Paige and Elise), Tracy (Dale, Blake and Brett) Jordan, Wayne (Nancy and Seth) three great-grandchildren; her sister Elly; and brothers, Jan, Harke, Hillbrand, Lucas, Dennis and Martin. She was predeceased by her parents and brother Joe. Wilma was born on July 2, 1942 in the town of Norg, the Netherlands. She moved to Canada in 1952 where she fell in love with and married Ed. They raised their family on a farm near Balmoral, MB and later retired in Stonewall. Wilma was so creative with her hobbies and craftwork. All of us cherish a little something that she has made. If you know Wilma, youd know fishing was her passion, gardening was her love. Wilma and Ed also crossed many miles and made many friends on their vacation trips and while RVing. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, September 14 at Christ the King Church, 315 2nd St. E. in Stonewall at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 15 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of the arrangements.
