RENEE CLAUDETTE DESMARAIS 1974 - 2004 It is with great sadness that the family of Renee Desmarais announces her death. Renee passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the age of 30 years. Born on September 8, 1974 in Winnipeg, Renee was the precious daughter of Linda (nee Lamoureaux) Desmarais and Lionel Desmarais. Renee will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her large extended blended family. Along with her parents, she leaves to morn her stepmother Catherine; her brothers, Lionel Desmarais Jr. and Kyle Hebert; her sister Cheryl Lariviere; her stepbrothers, Jack (Karrie) Angus and Jason (Sarah) Angus; her brother-in-law Walter Lariviere; her maternal grandparents, Cora Lamoureaux and August Erstelle; her paternal grandparents, Julie (Desmarais) Buhr and John Buhr; her aunts, Bernice (Richard) Klyne, Louise Champagne (Russ Rothney), Theresa (Victor) Schmidt, Barbara Desmarais, Bernice (Bob) Cardinal, Annette Osmack, Corrine (Gord) Tye; her uncles, George (Terri) Desmarais, Dennis (Donna) Desmarais, Larry Mayo; her nephews, Derek Lariviere, Austin and Evan Angus; her niece Taylor Angus; her best friend Janet Sinclair; numerous cousins, and her loyal pet Rocky. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Amie Desmarais. Renee especially loved interacting with young people and enjoyed her employment as a teachers aid. She was looking forward to becoming a foster parent as family was very important to her. She will always be in our hearts. Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the memorial service will be held on Friday, September 17, at 2:00 p.m., both at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery. God of our destiny, into your hands we commend our little child, we are confident that she will live with Christ for ever. Give us the courage to carry our cross and help us to comfort each other until we all meet in Christ to be with you and with our child. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
