Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON FALK December 22, 1947- September 13, 2004 It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Falk announces his sudden passing on September 13, 2004, at the St. Boniface Hospital after a long and brave struggle with Diabetes. Gordon was predeceased by his father Erdman Falk. He leaves to mourn, his loving mother Frieda; two daughters, Jennifer (Justin) Marucci, and Susan; his granddaughter Juliana, whom he adored; as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins. Gordon will be missed by his many friends with whom he loved to play golf, baseball and volleyball. At Gordons request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, September 16 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, with Rev. Franz Wiebe officiating. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. Gord was a kind, honest and straight forward person without any pretense. I was lucky enough to have known Gord for a short time working in Real Estate at the same brokerage. Gord went on a holiday to Texas and when he returned he gave me an engraved key fob from the Houston Space Center, he recalled we had talked about Nasa before he left and thoughtfully picked up the present for me, I still have it with my keys, a reminder of Gord and the great guy he was, I will always remember you Gord, RIP. - Posted by: Marc Goldberg (friend, co worker) on: Apr 16, 2017
