BERTHE COTE (nee DUBOIS) Peacefully, on Monday, September 13, 2004, Berthe Cote passed away at the Repos-Jolys in St. Pierre-Jolys, MB at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her children, Paul (Pauline), Rita (Robert), Agnes (Jules), Doris (Paddy), Leo (Gail), Beatrice (Glenn) and Diane (Lucien) 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Annette, Irene and Cecile and three brothers, Etienne, Andre and Henri. Berthe was predeceased by her husband, Arthur; her daughter Irene; her sisters, Alma and Jeanne and her brothers, Charles, Albert, Camille and Zephirin. Berthe was a seamstress for Richlu Sportswear for many years. Later, she became a home care worker until she was diagnosed with dementia. She loved camping and she would go hunting with Dad. Her favourite saying was "Ah, les hommes!" Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Joseph Choiselat at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church in St. Malo, MB on Friday, September 17 at 2:30 p.m. The welcome blessing will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment of Berthes cremated remains will take place in the St. Malo Parish Cemetery following the mass.
