SUSAN ELLEN JANE HEIDAHL (nee HIBBITT) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Heidahl, 51, of Komarno, MB on September 15, 2004 at the Health Sciences Centre, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, with her family at her side. Mourning her loss, her only son Robert (Lindsay) Jack, her husband and special friend; her only brother Ken and wife Sharol with their children, Eric, Leslie, Marissa and Kaitlyn and many aunts and uncles and cousins. Susan was born in Teulon, MB on May 31, 1953 to Oliver and Beatrice Hibbitt of Balmoral. She got her education at Ridgeway School, Balmoral Elementary and Stonewall Collegiate. Susan was predeceased by her mother, Beatrice, September 25, 1998; her father, Oliver, April 14, 2004 and her first husband, Lloyd. Susan enjoyed her nephew and nieces, gardening and her flowers, spending quiet time at the cabin and to have a good conversation. She worked in the insurance field starting with Charles Slater Insurance and culminating with McMillan Insurance. She was an active member of the Lilliane Barron Breast Cancer Support Group. Prayers will be held at MacKenzies Funeral Chapel, Teulon, on Tuesday, September 21 at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at MacKenzies Funeral Chapel, Teulon, on Wednesday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Victoria Cemetery, Balmoral. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susans name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. MacKenzie Funeral Home Teulon in care of arrangements.
