McINTOSH Dolly passed away on Monday, September 13, 2004 at her residence, Golden West Centennial Lodge, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her son Ronald McIntosh; and her granddaughters, Bonnie, Kathleen, Cheryl and Jill, all of British Columbia. Dolly was predeceased by her husband Thomas H. McIntosh in 1999. Dolly was born on May 12, 1921. She and Tom lived most of their 52 years of married life in their home on Roblin Boulevard in Charleswood, later moving to an apartment on Westwood Drive. Dolly retired after working for Eatons for 19 years. Before ill health set in, Tom and Dolly used to travel often to British Columbia to visit their granddaughters and extended family. Dolly was an outgoing and very social person who loved nothing better than coffee and a chat with friends. She retained her social graces even in the throes of her last illness when much of her memory had faded. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, September 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Society, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 would be appreciated.
