ROBERT (BOB) KIRK IRVINE It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Bob Irvine, our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and loving husband. Dad passed away from heart complications and died peacefully with his family at his bedside on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the Grace Hospital. He is survived by his wife Iris with whom he had just celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary; his sons, Rob, Michael (Kelly), Todd (Donna) and Chris; grandchildren, Lisa, Dawn, Allison, Kirk, Sam, Chantel (Ernie) and Amber; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Daegan; sister Pat Savage; and sisters-in-law, Lil Bodnar and Ivy Allan. Dad loved his family with his heart and soul and of course known as Papa by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought the utmost joy to his life. Dad was the most selfless person known as he always put his family, friends and his animals first. Dad was well known in sports as Mr. Irv and spent the last 25 years on the executive of the St. James Major Junior Canucks. One of his main joys in life was watching hockey and especially watching young boys playing and enjoying the game and developing into fine young men. We would like to offer our very special thanks to his daughter-in-law Kelly who spent the last month his life taking special care of him. Also to his special friend Tom Millar who so unselfishly gave his time and was never too busy to drive Bob around during his illness, never failing to put a smile on Bobs face. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire a donation in Dads memory may be made to the Pet Rescue Shelter, 3062 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3K 0Y1, which was one of his favourite places to visit, would be greatly appreciated.
