AMBROSE JOHN CASTILION After a brief illness, on September 19, 2004 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Ambrose Castilion, aged 92 years of Selkirk, MB. Ambroses memory will be cherished by his daughter Jean C. (Gerald) Dola and grandson Trevor Dola. He was predeceased by his wife Mary in 2001. Ambrose was born November 24, 1911 in Boston, MA. While in the army he met and married Mary Rusk of Gainsborough, SK on December 26, 1942. They lived for many years in Massachusetts. Ambrose worked as a printer compositor from the age of 16 until he retired at 61. In 1977 they moved to Winnipeg, and in 1995 to Selkirk, to live with Jean, Gerald and Trevor. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Many thanks to Homecare in Selkirk and Dr. Antonenko for your gentle care of my Dad. Thank you to all the nurses and staff on the Surgical Ward of the Selkirk General Hospital for your kind and caring treatment, both of my Dad and me, during this very difficult time. Ambrose has gone home to God and we will miss him. And hes with Mary now. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
