ELIZABETH PAYNE (nee SOLOMCHUK) Peacefully on Sunday, September 19, 2004 at the Concordia Hospital, cancer finally claimed the life of our beloved Elizabeth, after a very long and courageous battle with MS. Betty is survived by her loving husband Albert; brother Edward (Esther) sisters, Pearl and Sophie; brother-in-law Stan (Ivy) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Daniel (Mae), her sister Mary (Phillip) and nephew Robert. At Elizabeths request, there will be no public service and a private family interment will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined, but if friends so wish memorial donations may be made on her behalf, to MS Society, Manitoba Chapter or to a charity of ones choice. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Alvi and the nurses and staff at the Concordia Hospital and home care for their kindness, care and understanding over the years.
