STANLEY KEITH KAUK 1934 - 2004 Stanley Kauk, beloved husband of Shirley, peacefully passed away at Concordia Hospital on September 21. Remaining to cherish his memory is his wife Shirley of 48 years; his children, Karen, Keith (Barb), Ken (Deb), Gary (Shannon), Brenda and Les (Brenda) grandchildren, Jason (Wendy), Denyne (Barry), Justin, Ashley, Kyle, Meagen, Sabrina, Amanda, Trisha and Paige; great-grandson Jaime; brothers, Erwin (Gert), Wally (Del) sister Lee (Art) brother-in law Paul; sisters-in-law, Adeline, Jackie and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Stan was born in Melville, SK, and at a young age moved to Winnipeg. After he finished his education, he started his 39 years with the C.N.R. retiring at the age of 56. Through church activities Stan met the love of his life, Shirley, whom he married in 1956 and was blessed with six children. He was very active in the church and CN baseball leagues and curling in the winter. Stans priority in life was his family. It was hard to believe how he spread his time with such a large family without anyone feeling left out. Stan was a dedicated and respected volunteer in the Elmwood community. Stans unconditional love, wisdom, patience and humour were shared not only with his family but all those who came in contact with him throughout the years. We admire him for facing his illness with courage, dignity and humour. His first concern was always his family. A special thanks to Dr. D. Hobson for not only his excellence in treating Stans Parkinsons but also for his compassion throughout the years. We would also like to express our thanks to the Emergency and ICU staff at Concordia Hospital. Prayers and viewing will be held on Thursday, September 23 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 708 McCalman Ave. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, 171 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1M4. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
