NORMA HELEN ROBSON Norma, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away at Riverview Health Centre on Tuesday, September 21, 2004. Her husband Aleck; daughter Jackie and husband Randy; and grandsons, Adam and Matthew; son Jeffrey and wife Wanda and all members of her extended family are shedding tears of sadness. But they are also feeling a sense of joy to know that Norma is now free from the pain, distress and depression that have been her constant companions for many months. Besides her immediate family, Norma is survived by her sister Rosella (Art) Baerg, brother Averno (Wendy) and brother George (Diane). Norma left her mark on this world in many ways, she was a fine homemaker, a capable teacher and had a positive influence on the lives of many students. She was a mentor and guided and instructed many teachers in her role as a consultant. Her musical ability was recognized and utilized and she directed and accompanied many musical programs throughout the years. The family extends a special note of gratitude to longtime friend Vera Derenchuk for her concern and compassion. A thank you also to all those at CancerCare for the kindness and attention and to those from the Regional Health who came to the home to assist and care. A note of gratitude to Dr. Van Jaarsveldt at Lakewood Medical Centre and to Dr. Murray Enns at PsychHealth. The staff at Riverview Hospital also deserve much praise for the excellent work done to ease the pain and to supply comfort. And to all friends and relatives your messages of faith, hope and support gave brightness to many dark days.
