KRISTINE LILLIAN FERGUSON 15 November 1933 - 19 September 2004 Lil passed away peacefully, at the age of 70 years, with her family by her side. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Lillian was born on 15 November 1933 in Winnipeg, at the Grace General Hospital, to Kristin and Kristrun Hannesson. She was pre-deceased by her paternal grandparents, Kristine & Gudmundur Hannesson; and maternal grandparents, Jona and Johann Arason; her father Kristin (1969) and brother Guy Hannesson (2001). She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Kristrun Bolton; her daughter Kristine Allard; her grandchildren, Keith Allard and Tammy Giancola (John), her great-grandchildren, Justin, Juliano, Gino, Jonathan and Jessica. Her brother Lloyd Hannesson (Diane) and sister Sharon Cuthbert (Gordon) and her loving partner, Gerry Srigley, his daughter Jennifer Heinrichs (Don) and his son Jeff Lewis (Audra) and her many nieces and nephews and extended family. A special thanks is extended to the doctors and nurses, especially Rebecca, at the Grace General Hospital, who through their devotion and compassion, allowed Lil to pass away with dignity and grace. A memorial Service will be held on Thursday 23rd September at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave. (entrance on Aubrey Street) at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Michael Kurtz presiding. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be at a later date at the Gimli Cemetery, Gimli, MB. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Grace General Hospital Foundation or the Cancer Society.
