THELMA STARKEY (nee ADAMS) Peacefully on Monday, September 20, 2004 Thelma passed away at the Ladner Personal Care Home in B.C. at the age of 88. Thelma will be remembered by her daughter Janet Sillett (Norman) son Mike Starkey (Lise) grandchildren, Peter, Trish and Stuart, as well as five great-grandchildren; her brother Dick Adams (Marge) and her sister-in-law May Round as well as many special nieces and nephews. Thelma was predeceased by her husband George in 2003. The family would like to thank the Ladner Personal Care Home for their love and care over the last two years, as well as Auntie May and niece Diane (Di and Ray) for their ongoing love and support while George and Thelma lived in White Rock. Cremation has taken place at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in White Rock, B.C. and a private family memorial will be held in Winnipeg, as well as in White Rock, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba.
