ROGER ALBERT LAMBERT It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of Roger, aged 66, on Sunday, September 26, 2004 following a courageous battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Liliane (nee Lussier) with whom he shared 45 wonderful years; daughter Diane (Shack) son-in-law Lawrence; son Paul and daughter-in-law Linda (nee Merry). He also leaves behind his one and only grandchild, Rachelle, whose life achievements he will regrettably miss, although he will undoubtedly always be with her in spirit. Roger is also survived by his three brothers, Denis, Raymond, Marcel and his wife Annette and their families and his special aunt Flore. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law Clara; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and their families as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and granddog Abby. Roger was predeceased by his parents, Edouard and Agnes (Toupin) and his father-in-law Henri (Luissier). Everyone who met Roger became one of his friends. He was an open-hearted individual, who was always available to help his many family and friends. He will be remembered for his love of family, the outdoors, hockey and bowling, and his strong work ethic and community spirit. Our family wishes to thank the doctors and staff from the Dialysis Unit and the Palliative Care Unit at the St. Boniface General Hospital for their compassionate care. A celebration of Rogers life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30 at the St. Boniface Cathedral. A private family interment will follow at a later date.
