Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERA PERKO After a full and rewarding life, Vera peacefully passed away at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre on Friday, September 24, 2004. Vera was predeceased by her husband, Egon in 1993. She leaves to mourn her son Dennis, daughter-in-law Karin and grandchildren, Angela and Steven. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Louis; sister-in-law Mira; her niece Renata and family. Vera was born on September 9, 1913 in Hungary and immigrated to Canada with her husband Egon in 1950. Vera enjoyed the company of the many friends she made while living in Canada. She will be remembered for her boundless energy, her love and compassion for people, especially children and her ability to laugh and find joy in living. The family extends sincere thanks to all the staff at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre for their support and compassion. The family also thanks her dear friend Irene Kirouac who Vera relied on for constant assistance and support in times of need. Cremation has taken place. Mass celebrating Veras life will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 29 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Hungarian Church, 365 Burnell Street. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

Mrs Perko was such a sweetheart I was just a kid like Danny / Dennis but his mother was such a loving mother and she cared so much for people I just loved her so much and Egon also.
