Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOE McELROY December 25, 1924 - September 27, 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the father of our hearts, Joe McElroy. Suddenly, on Monday, September 27, 2004, with his daughter Diana by his side, Joe passed away at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 79 years. Joe will be missed so very much by his three daughters, Diana (Don), Sherry (Rob) and Debbie (Blaine) grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Kendra, Christopher, Jessica and Sarah. You will always be in our hearts and in our thoughts, "We love you Papa". In compliance with Joes wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Our family will honor his wishes and celebrate his life privately. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Joes memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. You made everyday worth living, Not only were you loving But very giving. We loved every conversation We cherished your every thought. You dont think about it as much as time goes on, but the pain never really subsides. Was talking to Alexis about you yesterday night, she was ignoring mom when she was talking to her. I explained that she shouldn't take those little conversations for granted cause one day you might not have them. I think back on it now and wish that i listened, what i would do to talk to you. I'm married now papa, he is amazing and loves me like you wouldn't believe. Alexis just turned 5 she is finishing nursery and she is so smart. Took her to polo park yesterday and had lunch and couldn't help but think about shopping with you at that san francisco store. There may not have been people very fond of you papa, but there are people who did and still do love and think about you everyday. I know you're watching over me, when i'm at my weakest point something lifts me up. i just needed to get it all out i know you can't see this but I forgive you.
