JEAN C. WELTON Quietly on September 27, 2004, Jean passed away at Poseidon Care Centre. She was in her 83rd year of life. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are her dear and close friends Anne and Ken Mumford. She also leaves behind many, many others to help. We would like to thank the staff at the care home, as well as Riverview Health Centre, where she had a brief stay, for all of their help in making Jeans last moments as comfortable as possible. Anne and Ken would appreciate that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Jeans name to the Cancer Society of Manitoba. Dont grieve for me my children dear, Nor shed for me a single tear. It was the Lords appointed time, To call me here from all of mine. In memories garden, mid our own sacred flowers, Thou livest forever, Mother of ours. Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 30 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 2 at 10:00 a.m. also at Glen Eden Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
