GEORGE WILLIAM LAPP November 30, 1921 - September 25, 2004 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad. George was predeceased by his beloved wife Donna in 2000. He is survived by his children, Shirley, Ren (Terry), Ron, and David; his sister Evangeline (Jo) Harney of Grand Forks, ND; his two aunts, Mary and Margaret and his cousins. During his respected working career in the western Canadian feed and grain industry, he attained a lifetime membership in both the GEAPS Canadian Prairies Chapter, as well as, the North West Commercial Travelers Association. Dad was also a member of the King Edward Lodge No. 93. Dad enjoyed numerous summers at the family cottage in Matlock. He also relished many years of thoroughbred racing at Assiniboia Downs, being a partner in Nor-lite Farms where he owned a number of race horses. Curling, bowling and golf gave Dad many years of pleasure as did his love of dogs and his love of cruising in his treasured convertibles. The family would like to thank Dads care-givers and friends who blessed him with their visits and expressions of concern. At the familys request, a private celebration of Dads life will take place. His ashes will rest at Thomson "In the Park" Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V8 or a charity of your choice. We Love you Dad THOMSON "IN THE PARK" FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY 1291 McGillivray Blvd -204-925-1120
