ARON GIESBRECHT Peacefully in his sleep at Donwood Manor on September 29, 2004, he went home to meet our Mom. He was 81 years old and predeceased by his wife Katharina in 2002. Also predeceased by two sons and one daughter in infancy, by his son Hans in 1999 and grandson Jeremiah in 1986. He is survived by four daughters, three sons and their families. His loving family, Eva (Peter) Kehler, Jake (Elna) Giesbrecht, Abe (Liesa) Giesbrecht, Ed (Helen) Giesbrecht, Helen (Hans) Sawatzky, Lea (David) Gallop, Viera (Larry) Bergen; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will always remember his love of a good joke and his many harmless pranks. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff at Donwood Personal Care Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to charities of your choice. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 2, at 9:30 a.m. at River East Mennonite Church, 825 Panet Rd., with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
