BROCK MICHAEL GUERCIO (RYBACK) It is with profound sadness that the family announces the unexpected passing of Brock Michael Guercio (Ryback) on Thursday, September 30, 2004 at the Health Sciences Centre in the arms of his loving parents, Karolyn and Emilio. Left to cherish Brocks memory are his loving parents, Karolyn and Emilio; his big brothers, Steven (Allison), Robbie and Jamie; his nana Assunta, zio Luigi, zia Pina; and special auntie Sheila Jensen; as well as numerous cousins. Waiting to welcome Brock in heaven are nonno Alberto and his grandparents, Harry and Ruth Pfeifer. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Services, The Womens Hospital Emergency Operating Room and staff, as well as the Childrens NICU staff for their unselfish dedication and care, which helped ease the familys pain, especially Drs. Caces, Margolis, Isac, Srinivasan, Idiong, Amoah-Gyampoh and NICU nurses, Nina Kostiuk, Terie Thorsteinson, Gail Kulyk, Lori Davis, Mary Lou Green and the rest of the NICU staff. Although Brocks time on earth was brief, we will never forget the short time we had together or the first time we met. We will never forget that beautiful little face. The day Brock left us broke drab and dreary and our hearts were sad and weary. But when his peaceful end came we had relief in our hearts for when the sun dispersed the clouds that sad, sad Thursday afternoon we knew that God had just welcomed his newest little angel. Rest in peace dear little Brock, we will love you forever. A celebration of Brocks life will be held on Tuesday, October 5 at 1:30 p.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, located at 680 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brocks memory to the Childrens Hospital NICU. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: EDWARD J.
