JOHN HARRISON John Harrison passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday morning, September 30, 2004, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Caring husband of Patricia Harrison of Winnipeg, MB. Beloved companion of Lena Hyra of Windsor, ON. Cherished father of John and wife Jane of Kingston, NS, George and wife Debbie of Windsor and Tom and wife Traci of Winnipeg. Kind grandfather of Rebecca, Sarah, Bret and Ilyssa Harrison. He divided his work life between the RAF, the RCAF and General Motors. V.W. John Harrison, Master of St. Andrews Lodge No. 642, P.M. of Ontario Lodge, P.M of Border City Lodge, Past First Principal of Windsor Chapter No. 71, Moore Sovereign Consistory and Past Most Wise Sovereign of Windsor Chapter Rose Croix and Windsor Lodge of Perfection, Member of Mocha Shrine, Member of Moramos Shrine, and member of the Easy Riders. Resting at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (254-3223) on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. from the Anderson Memorial Chapel. Cremation to follow. Rev. Wendy Paterson officiating. Memorial tributes to the Victorian Order of Nurses would be appreciated by the family. A Masonic service will be held on Monday at 7:30 p.m. under the auspices of Ontario Lodge No. 521 A.F. & A.M.
