WILLIAM (BILL) ERNEST KARLENZIG On Thursday, September 30, 2004, at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home, Bill passed away at the age of 75 years. Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife Melba, of 49 years of marriage; sons, David (Debbie) and Ron (Heather) daughters, Karen (Dean) Charles and Brenda (Walter) Aitken; grandchildren, Blaire, Stefanie, Trish, Jamie, (Cory, Alana and Megan Kloos) and Ryan; great-granddaughter Kylie; sisters, Gertrude Smith and Leona (Bruce) Nicholson; brother Artie (Arlene) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; and sister Dorothy (Ludwig). On July 20, 1929, Bill was born in Brunkild, MB. Here he grew up and raised his family until their move to Carman, MB where they lived for 14 years. In 2000, the family moved to Winnipeg. Bill worked for the municipality of MacDonald for most of his life. He spent his last working years as a mechanic for Blights Case International in Carman. He enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, photography, building model planes and golfing. A private family ceremony honouring Bills life will be held. Our family would like to thank the staff at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home for their excellent care. A special thanks to Joanne, Tami and Sandi.
