Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILLIE LA MONICA Peacefully with her family by her side on October 1, 2004, Millie La Monica was called to the Lord. She is survived by three daughters: Joy (Alan), granddaughters Gina, Shelley, grandson, David of California; Lorraine (Bud), granddaughter, Corrie, grandsons, Doug and Michael; Marilyn (Ken), granddaughters, Michele and Lori; one son, Tony (Beverley), granddaughter Barb, grandsons Gord and Dave of Winnipeg, fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Millie was predeceased by her husband, John on April 27, 1976. Born on April 7, 1905 at St. Anne, Manitoba and spend her early years in Minnesota. She was employed at Woolworths for several years before she married John La Monica. Millie was a very loving person. Her greatest pleasures were to knit or crochet for all of her family. Her warm and generous personality will be greatly missed by family and friends. The family would like to thank the Third Floor Staff at Kildonan Personal Care Home for all their care and help. Pallbearers will be Gord La Monica, Dave La Monica, Michael Kelley, Justin Lys, Dennis Laing, Ron Iannone. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. with viewing one half hour prior to Funeral Mass.
