ALICE EINARSON (nee MONTAGNON) August 9, 1929 - October 1, 2004 Peacefully, on October 1, 2004 Alice passed away with her sister Aurore by her side at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 75. Alice will be sadly missed by her daughter Randie; her sister Aurore Montagnon; as well sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1997; her parents, Cyprien and Rose Montagnon; her brothers, Armand, Arthur (Archie) and Albert; and her sister-in-law Beverly Zakala. Alice was born in St. Charles, MB on August 9, 1929. She had attended St. Charles Academy, was previously employed by Eatons, Bristol Aerospace and Federated Co-op prior to retiring. The family would like to thank the staff of the Grace General Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. "We love you and we miss you." Prayer vigil will be held Thursday, October 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 8 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Ave. with Fr. Mark Tarrant as celebrant. Alice will be laid to rest in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery with a reception to follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre.
