CECELIA ELAINE OEHLERKING (FAYE) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cecelia Elaine Oehlerking of Teulon, MB on October 2, 2004 at Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy and courageous battle with emphysema, with her family beside her. Cecelia was born on August 4, 1932 and was raised in Gravelbourg, SK. On April 6, 1951 she married Lawrence W. Oehlerking. Together they raised three daughters, Marlaine, Doreen and Gloria. Cecelia loved being outdoors and working on the farm with the animals. She found the serenity of the outdoors to be very appeasing. Music was also an important part of her life. She enjoyed playing the mouth organ and watching her daughters dance in the kitchen to the music she made. Cecelia also liked to play cards and loved a good joke. She leaves behind to mourn her loving husband of 53 years Lawrence; her three daughters, Marlaine (Lloyd), Doreen (Ron) and Gloria; her grandchildren, Shannon, Lloydene (Derek), Curt (Cindy), Vanessa (Jarrod), Michelle (Jeff), Kelsey, Laura (Germay) great-grandchildren, Bryce, Shailee, Courtnee; five sisters and two brothers and their families. She was predeceased by her mother and father; brothers, Lloyd, Lou; sister Florence. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 5 at 1:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Rev. Patricia McMahon will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. MacKENZIE FUNERAL HOME, TEULON in care of arrangements.
