JEAN DOBRINSKY Peacefully, on October 4, 2004 at the Middlechurch Home, Jean Dobrinsky, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away at the age of 80 years. Jean is survived by sons, Dan (Heather) and Ron (Margaret) grandchildren, Dean (Sarah), Carrie Hewitt (Rob), Derek (Roberta) great-grandchildren, Jake, Chloe, Alice-Jean, Gavin. She also leaves to mourn her passing, her sister Anne Wagner and many other family members. She was predeceased by her husband, John (1984), father Daniel (1975), mother Mary (1976) and brother John (2003). Jean was born in Winnipeg October 28, 1923. She lived in north Winnipeg for most of her life. During her active years she was involved with Branch No. 141 Ukrainian Veterans Legion (Ladies Auxiliary) serving as president as well as other executive positions. She was very active with the colour party, which she took great pride in. Jean was a life member and recently received her 50 year service pin. She also did volunteer work at St. Josephs and Deer Lodge. Jean enjoyed family gatherings and traveling to Quesnel to visit her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the following: the staff of B1 Middlechurch Home for the compassionate care they provided. Msgr. McCloskey and the parishioners of St. Theresas for their prayers. A funeral mass will be celebrated October 7, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresas Roman Catholic Church, 3597 Main St. with Msgr. L. McCloskey as celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, 280 Balderstone Rd., West St. Paul, MB R4A 4A6 (Courtyard Project). CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
