WILLIAM J. JOHNSTON On the 3rd day of October 2004 Bill Johnston passed away at Winnipeg at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his dear wife Dorothy and his brother-in-law Norman Hall. Bill is survived by his brother Richard Johnston of Victoria, BC and his family, by his sister Marilyn Wright of St. Albert, AB and her family and by the Hall family of Edmonton, AB. Bills working years were spent in the service of the Manitoba Government and over the years he enjoyed curling with his friends at the Granite Club and in the summer golfing with them at Southwood Golf and Country Club. Cremation has already taken place and at his request there will be no public service but Bill hopes his friends will remember him in a kindly way. Donations in Bills memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at 1101-191 Lombard Ave.
