LAURA MAYOR The family of Laura Mayor sadly announces her passing at the Charleswood Care Centre on September 30, 2004, at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband Harry in 1981. Surviving are one daughter Harriett Artis of Regina; and one son Orville (Donna) of Winnipeg. There are six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Laura was an avid sports fan and for many years an ardent curler. When she could no longer actively participate in curling, she followed that and all sports on TV. When she lost her eyesight, she still kept up to date with sports and news items on the radio. She was a kind and loving Mom, Nana and Great-Grandma. We will miss her. Rest in Peace, Nana A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 7 at 2:00 p.m. from the Dauphin Riverside Cemetery with Peggy Barrows officiating. Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Service have care of the arrangements.
