ANNIE WILKIE (HEINRICHS) (nee HARDER) April 1, 1911 - October 4, 2004 Peacefully, with her daughter and granddaughter by her side, our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother passed away at the age of 93 at the Boyne Lodge in Carman after a few years of ill health that she faced with courage and an indomitable spirit. She was held in the prayers of many both near and far and was surrounded by her familys love. Annie was born April 1, 1911 to Jacob J. and Maria (Braun) Harder of Edenbourg, MB - Village of Altona. Surviving are her sons, John Alexander Wilkie and his wife Elizabeth of San Diego, CA and James Franklin Wilkie and his wife Linda of Cochrane, AB and her daughter Barbara Marie Chapman of Winnipeg, MB. Grandchildren, Jay and Tom Wilkie and Kris Tegtmeier; Jared, Rylan and Raegan Wilkie; Leanne (Doug) Bartley and Jeff (Jennifer) Chapman; stepgrandchildren, Kristin Marie Fisher, Albuquerque, NM and Michelle May, Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren, Lacey and Stephanie Tegtmeier, Taylor Bartley and Myles Chapman. Also surviving is one sister Alice Wiebe (Jake) of Carman, MB and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Alex Wilkie; her daughter-in-law, Maureen Wilkie; and her granddaughter, Meredith Maureen Wilkie; her second husband, Ben Heinrichs; and brother and sisters, Mary Giesbrecht, Tina Peters, Jake Harder, Henrietta Harder, Hattie Buckbee, Helen Melbourne, Dorothy Becker, and Eva Harder. Funeral service will be held from the Carman United Church in Carman on Saturday, October 9 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Catherine Waldie officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. As we say good-bye for now, we thank-you for your unconditional love. You have shown us how to live life to the fullest, to trust in Gods way and to love one another. Farewell Annie, Mom, Grandma, and Gigi. The family wish to thank the many people who cared for Annie at the Boyne Lodge and Carman Hospital who were extraordinary in their devotion and compassion given to our Mother.
