ELIZABETH STACHURSKI (nee FALL) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Elizabeth, on Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at the age of 76. Elizabeth leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, her son Roman (Annikki) and their childrren, Michael, Johnny and Bobby; daughter Patricia (Allan) and their children, Gace, Jeff and Tim; daughter Irene (Denis) and their children, Julie and Marc; daughter Claudia (Keith) and their son Jordan. Elizabeth is also survived by numerous relatives in Ukraine. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1988. Elizabeth was born in Ukraine on May 28, 1928, immigrated to Canada in 1949, and settled in Winnipeg. She married John in 1951 and together they started raising a family. Elizabeth, together with John, instilled the importance of family and education in their children, wanting only the best for them. Elizabeth "Baba" will be fondly remembered for her love of the outdoors, travelling, a hard work ethic, and most important to her were family gatherings. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. A private funeral service will be held with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St. Winnipeg R3C 4G2. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Josephs Residence for the care, compassion and support they provided to our mother these past few years. There is a bridge of golden memories, From here to heaven above, That keeps you very close to us, Its called the bridge of love. Your memory is our keepsake, With which well never part, God has you in His keeping, We have you in our hearts. Those we love dont go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near. If tears could build a stairway, And memories a lane, We would walk right up to heaven, To be with you again. REST IN PEACE VICHNAYA PAMYAT KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
