(ADELINE) ADELLE WATTERS It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a truly caring, generous and fashionable lady, mother and grandmother, Adelle Watters, on Monday, October 4, 2004, at St. Boniface Hospital with her loving children at her side. Mom left us to be with Dad, Robert Watters, who predeceased her on November 29, 1997. She was also predeceased by her parents Joseph and Margaret Sopchynski; sisters, Janie Yuel, Rose Turner and Marie Worth. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, daughter Debbie Dopson (Tom) and sons, Terry (Christine) and Keith; and grandchildren, Thomas, Amanda and Kelsey Dopson, Evan Watters; sister-in-law Kay Beddome and Marie Watters; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and close friends. Adelle was born near Raymore, SK, and later moved to Winnipeg to attend school and later worked for the Canadian National Railroad. She met Dad and moved to Sioux Lookout, ON, where their three children were born and they made lifelong friends. In 1961 they moved back to Norwood where she resided until her passing. She was employed by Eatons for many years and then with DAllards where she shared her passion for fashion. Mom enjoyed people, spending time with her grandchildren, and gardening. Adelle was not known for sitting still, and did everything with such zeal and conviction. She was always first to volunteer her time to help others when they least expected it, and there was always room for one more person at the dinner table or an extra bed. Thank-you, Keith, for all your comfort and support of Mom during her illness. Thanks for all the support that we have received from Aunt Kay, family members and friends and the doctors, nurses and staff of the MICU at the St. Boniface for their compassionate care. Prayers will be held at Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St., at 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 8. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 9 at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Rd. (Windsor Park), with Rev. Fr. Ron Leger officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Adelles memory to a charity of your choice. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: EDWARD J. COUTU LTD. 680 Archibald Street 253-5086
