Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD KORMILO Suddenly on Thursday, October 7, 2004 at the Arborg and District Health Centre, Edward Kormilo of Arborg, MB passed away at the age of 73 years. Ed is survived by his wife Jeannette; son Christopher (Lorrie) daughter Janice (Harold) grandchildren, Lynette (great-grandson Christopher), Melissa (Jeff), Jennifer, Brian; brother Stan (Marcy) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Dmetro; mother Anna and brother Albert. Born in Winnipeg, MB on March 22, 1931, Eds family moved to a farm in Rossdale, MB. He later met and married Jeannette in 1949. They established a construction and fuel oil business in Lockport, MB. They eventually retired and moved to the Arborg area in 1983 where they spent many happy years. Ed enjoyed going to the coffee shop with friends, attending garage sales and auction sales. A funeral service will be held at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Arborg, MB at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 12. Interment will be held at the Okno Cemetery in Okno, MB. Refreshments will be served at the Silver Hall following the interment. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Abuda, George Hibbert, Glen Hutchinson, Glen Kormilo, Ronnie Ladobruk and Marcel Zelisko. All of Eds family and friends are to consider themselves as honourary pallbearers. Special thanks to staff at the Concordia Hospital and at the Arborg and District Health Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Arborg in care of arrangements.
