VERONICA (VERA) CUMMINGS (nee REIBER) Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Vera passed away October 8, 2004 at Riverview Health Centre in the company of her daughter and the caring staff on 2 West. Vera was born April 13, 1913 in the vicinity of Whitewood, Saskatchewan, the 13th child born in a family of 13 girls. She was married in 1940, to Wallace James Cummings. He predeceased her in 1958. Vera lead a life full of hard work and took pride in her work. Her greatest pleasure was helping those in any type of trouble. She spent almost 60 years in Northern Manitoba and is still missed by the town of Lynn Lake. Vera is survived by her sisters, Clara and Emma; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She will be very much missed by us in Winnipeg - daughter Carol Giroux, friend Alan Hume, grandson Phil (Lee), granddaughter Michele, granddaughter Deanna Lanoway (Tyler), great-grandchildren Ava and Dryden Lanoway. By Veras wishes there is no formal service. Please remember her in your own way. Flowers are gratefully declined.
