Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA CZOCH Peacefully on October 8, 2004 our Mother and Babcia, Maria aged 93 years went home to be with Jesus. Maria was predeceased by her husband Bronislaw on November 4, 1977, daughter Jolanta in infancy in 1948 and her sister Katarzyna Dubanski in January 1965. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her three sons, Adolf (Jadwiga), Richard, Les (Debbie) and Diane; as well as her sister Anna and nephew Roman (Barbara) in Poland. She is also survived by her grand-children, Diane (Ron), Victor (Tracey), Nicole (Chris), Mark, Dean (Kathleen), and Tracy (Derek) as well as seven great-grandchildren, Brandon, Bryce, Ryland, Darian, Brooke, Emma and Colton. Maria was born in Poland on March 19, 1911 and immigrated to Canada in March 1959. Maria was a woman with a strong spirit and her greatest passion in life was her family. She will be remembered for her baking, crotcheting small doilies and her long walks. The family would like to thank the staff at Misericordia Hospital, Cedar Grove and Luther Home for all their kindness and support. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Parish, 341 Selkirk Ave. with viewing at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Holy Ghost Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Glen Eden Reception Centre. Acting as pallbearers will be Marias grandsons, Ron, Victor, Chris, Mark, Dean and Derek. As an expression of sympathy a donation in Marias memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
