ALLIE MARY MATHESON 1909 - 2004 Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at Calvary Place Personal Care home, Allie Matheson passed away at the age of 95 years. Allie was predeceased by her sister Christine in 1964. She was a talented artist and sculptor, and gifted elocutionist. A member of Calvary Temple since 1925 taught Sunday school for many years and sang in the Temple choir. Allie spent her working career with the T. Eaton Company. After her retirement she travelled extensively and toured Scotland, England, Greece, Israel, Bethlehem and Jerusalem, just to mention a few. Allie was one of quite kindness and giving. She is survived by her special friend, Jean Tevendale and by many who cherish her memory. Allie was most grateful for the care given to her at Calvary Place Personal Care Home. And a very sincere thank you to staff on 3 south, you really cared! A funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 13, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in Calvary Temple Buntain Chapel, 400 Hargrave Street. Viewing will be one half hour prior. Reception will be held at 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue.
