Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATIE SAWATZKY (nee JANZEN) July 13, 1934 - October 7, 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our wife, mom, grandma and sister on the afternoon of October 7, 2004. She leaves to mourn her husband John of 48 years (Morden) children, Pauline (Fred), Denise (Ron) and Bev (James) grandchildren Andrew, Michael, Jessica, Emalee, Sarah, Mathieu, Liam and Aaron; sisters Mary (Henry), Rita (John), Elma and brother Jake (Margaret). She will also be missed but not forgotten by sister-in-laws Nettie (Arnold), Anne (John), Susan, Frieda (Peter) and brother-in-law George (Mary), numerous nieces and nephews, friends and her church community. Katie was predeceased by her parents, three sisters and one brother. Her unlimited energy, unconditional love for her family and unwavering faith will be forever cherished. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." II Timothy 4:7. Funeral service will be held at Morden Mennonite Church, 363 Gilmour Street, Morden on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. The family wishes to express much gratitude to Cancer Care Boundary Trails and Cancer Care Manitoba (McDermot), Dr. Bob Menzies, Cheryl, Mary-Anne, Carolyn, Dr. N.
