JOHN EDWARD KORNAGA August 9, 1939 - October 8, 2004 Peacefully on Friday, October 8 at his residence with family by his side, John passed away from ALS at the age of 65 years. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Anthony and Lettie Federowich; parents, Jessie and John Kornaga; his brother Grant; and father-in-law Frank Posyniak. John is survived by his wife Chris; sons, Jonathan (Christy), Michael (Laura), Matthew (Nakia) his beloved daughter Elizabeth; and grandsons, Jesse and Jeremy. He will also be missed but not forgotten by his aunts, Ann, Sally and Anne; his mother-in-law Helen; sister-in-law Josie; brother-in-law Joe and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The funeral service will be held at St. John Cantius Church, 846 Burrows Ave., on Friday, October 15 at 1:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Henryk Uczniak and Fr. Henryk Laciak. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Society of Manitoba, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, R3J 0L3, in care of Brummittt-Feasby ALS House Fund.
