Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGABRIEL CHOISELAT 1918 - 2004 Peacefully, on October 8, 2004 at Ste. Annes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, Gabriel (Gaby) Choiselat, at the age of 86, passed into the arms of his loving Lord and Saviour. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Claire in 1984. He will be sadly missed by his six daughters, Denise (Robert Lambert), Agnes (Bob Dybka), Yolande (Fred Yurchak), Gisele (Paul Johnson), Helene and Celine (Derek Aston) two sons, Renald (Jeannie) and Jean (Jo-Anne) 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Georges and Fr. Joseph; five sisters, Sr. Jeanne, Clemence, Sr. Marie, Sr. Antoinette and Therese. He was also predeceased by his eldest daughter Yolande; his grandson Robby; his son-in-law Olivier; his sister Josephine; his brothers, Marcel, Charlie and Eugene. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 16 in the La Broquerie Roman Catholic Church with the interment to follow in the parish cemetery. Viewing prior to service at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a childrens charity of choice. The family sincerely thanks the staff of the Ste. Annes Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. Gaby was born in La Broquerie on September 17, 1918, where he spent his entire life. He farmed for a few years and then founded La Broquerie Lumber in partnership with his brother, Georges. They worked together until they retired in 1978. After he retired, Gaby and Claire built a cottage at Buffalo Point where they enjoyed fishing and spending time together before she passed away. Gaby continued to enjoy fishing and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his great love of children, his sense of humour and his generosity.
