PAT STEPHANSON Pat Stephanson, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 11, 2004 in Nanaimo, BC with her family at her side. Pat is survived by her sister Peggy (Ken) French; and brothers-in-law, Wayne (Marlene) Stephanson, Phil (Marjorie) Stephanson; nieces, Sherri, Shannon, Ardith; and nephews, Darrell and Timothy. After graduation Pat worked as a secretary in Winnipeg. In 1951 she went to live in London, England for 18 months with Rita (Doward) Nettelbeck. While there she did temp office work and travelled the British Isles and the continent. Returning to Winnipeg in 1960 she met and married David Stephanson formerly of Winnipegosis, MB. The lumber company Dave worked with sent them to Calgary and then to Vancouver. Upon retirement in 1993 they moved to Parksville on Vancouver Island. A memorial service will be held for Pat on Sunday, October 17 at 1:00 p.m. at Sand Funeral Chapel, 1 Newcastle Ave., Nanaimo. Flowers gratefully declined.
