DOREEN EVELYN MAE DAVISON (nee WORKMAN) It is with deep regret that we announce the death of our mother and grandmother, Doreen Davison on Tuesday, October 12, 2004. She died peacefully and suddenly, at her home in her sleep, at the age of 82 years. Remaining to cherish her memory are her son Jim (ex wife Cheryl), their children, Charles and Jennifer; daughter Jill (husband Larry), and their daughter Riley. Doreen was predeceased by her husband of many years, Robert Davison; parents, Willett and Carrie; and brothers, Edgar and Elmer Workman. Doreen worked for several years at Eatons mail order in a clerical capacity. After Eatons, she worked at Fairfax Bakery (Safeway) and lastly at Robins Donuts on midnight shifts. She was very active in the Transcona Memorial United Church. Doreen was a very giving person and donated to several different charities. In compliance with Doreens wishes, a private family funeral service will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Doreens memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
