PERCIVAL ZANE GALLOWAY November 9, 1920 - September 29, 2004 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear father and grandfather Perc Galloway. Our Dad will be dearly missed by his children Susan Leeson, Jane Holman (Ken) and Scott Galloway (Lise), along with all his loving grandchildren Charlene Richardson (Marc), Ryan, Lance and Brent Leeson, Jordan, Jennifer and Paula Holman, Nicole and Erin Galloway great-grandchildren Veronica Leeson, Trinity and Tosh Richardson. Perc was predeceased by his dear wife and best friend Marion in 2001. Perc was born in Calgary, Alberta and raised in Kenora, Ontario. In 1944, after returning from the Second World War, he married the love of his life Marion Morrison and they made their home in Winnipeg. Perc was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and uncle. As his own children grew up he was active in the community as a football and baseball coach and an avid fan of track and field. He instilled his love of the outdoors and especially the Lake of the Woods area with his family. He was a true gentleman throughout his life. Our family wishes to thank St. Norbert Personal Care Home for their care and ask that in lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Alzheimers Society or a charity of your choice A celebration of Percs life will be held on Saturday, October 23 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street.
