MARILYN KAY HAWRYLUK (nee DESJARDINS) Suddenly on October 13, 2004, Marilyn passed away at the age of 54. She was born August 22, 1950 to John and Yvonne Desjardins. She will be sadly missed by her husband Paul; mother Yvonne Desjardins; brothers, Roger (Colleen), Claude (Marlene) sister-in-law Janice Hawryluk; brother-in-law Donald Hawryluk (Iris) and numerous nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts. She was predeceased by her father John Desjardins, mother and father-in-law, Meron and Christine Hawryluk. Marilyn began her career in Winnipeg working for Allan Kyllam and McKay and Birks Jewellers. She later joined the Assiniboine Credit Union in 1973 and retired in 1998 due to failing health. She enjoyed cooking, travelling, bird watching, gardening, looking after her cats, Mitsey and Princess and relaxation at our cottage in Lac du Bonnet. Marilyn will be sadly missed but not forgotten by all her friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the CNIB. Viewing will be on Sunday, October 17 at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
