Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNETTE CAMILLA STEWART (nee BOURGEOIS) With great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Jeannette on Saturday, October 16, 2004 in her 55th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Gordon in 1994, her mother, Rose-Aime Bourgeois in 1987, and a brother, Maurice in infancy, she will be mourned by her daughters, Connie Leed (Quentin), Terri-Lynn Roberts (David) and Lorraine Stepaniuk (Robert). Also left to mourn are her father Charles Bourgeois (Blanche) twin sister Jeanne Hutcheon (Don) sister Noella Heilman; and brothers, John (Lucie), Roger (Carol), Aime, Raymond, Paul (Maggie) and Louis. Her grandchildren, Amber and Devin Stewart, Kimberly-Ann and Heather Roberts, and Michael and Jade Stepaniuk will miss their Mama dearly. Jeannette, who was raised in a large and loving family, lived all her life in Transcona. In September 1967 she married Gordon who tragically also passed away at an early age. Since Gords passing Jeannette was fortunate to always be surrounded by her family and wonderful friends. Her door was open to all and there was always a pot of coffee brewing. She worked at the Winnipeg Taxation Centre for the past 18 years and retired only a few months ago. Prayers and viewing will be held at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St., on Wednesday, October 20 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. A memorial service, presented by Chaplain Mark Scott, will take place at the Transcona Funeral Chapel on Thursday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation and a private family interment will take place at a later date. A reception will follow the service with the location to be announced at the service. The family would like all Jeannettes nephews to consider themselves honorary pallbearers. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of their choice. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
